For over ten years, I’ve documented weddings across Europe as a destination wedding photographer, with a particular love for Italy, from the shores of Lake Como to the rolling hills of Tuscany and the golden light of Florence.
As a luxury wedding photographer in Tuscany and across Italy, I shoot villas, vineyards, historic estates, and countryside castles, using a mix of film and digital, with true-to-life colours rather than fleeting trends. Lake Como and Tuscany aren’t the only parts of Italy worth getting married in. I’m also available for weddings in Puglia, with its whitewashed masserie and olive groves, in Sicily, where baroque architecture meets the coast, and in Sardinia, for couples drawn to a quieter, more remote celebration by the sea.

My style balances documentary wedding photography with a more editorial eye for portraits. For key moments like your morning bridal portraits, the couple shoot, and family formals, I’ll guide you gently and find the best light, so those photos have a considered, editorial-worthy composition.
For the rest of the day, I fade into the background. As a documentary destination wedding photographer, my goal is to capture what’s actually happening, unposed, from the ceremony through to the last dance.
I edit every gallery personally, aiming for images that feel true to life rather than trend-driven, a visual legacy of your wedding day you’ll still want to look at in twenty years.
Most couples I work with in Italy have a symbolic ceremony and handle the legal paperwork at home before or after travelling. Italian legal weddings involve their own residency and documentation requirements, so it’s worth discussing with a local wedding planner early if you’d rather marry legally on the day itself.
Florence and Pisa both have direct or easy connecting flights from major US airports, and most Tuscany venues are within an hour’s drive of either city. I’m happy to discuss logistics on our first call so your guests have a smooth trip.

It depends on the feeling you want. Lake Como suits couples drawn to villa weddings, dramatic water views, and a more formal atmosphere. Tuscany suits couples who want rolling countryside, vineyard settings, and a slightly more relaxed pace. Both work well for a destination wedding, and I’m happy to talk through which fits your vision.
Late spring (May, June) and early autumn (September, October) offer the most reliable weather and the softest light for photos. July and August are warmer and busier, which some couples prefer for a livelier atmosphere.
Most of the wedding venues in Italy that I work with have a covered backup option, and rain can actually make for beautiful, atmospheric photos. We’ll always have a plan in place ahead of time so it’s one less thing for you to worry about.
Either can work well. What matters more is finding someone whose style and approach genuinely fit what you want. As a wedding photographer who travels regularly across Europe, including throughout Italy, I bring the same experience and consistency to every destination, without the coordination of working with someone new to the country each time.
I specialise in full-day wedding photography and videography, with coverage starting at eight hours. My team and I combine digital imagery with 35mm film and Super 8, alongside highlight videos and drone footage. I intentionally take on a limited number of weddings each season so every couple gets proper time and attention.
For high season and destination weddings, my calendar typically fills 12 to 18 months ahead. I’d recommend reaching out early to check availability. A deposit secures your date, and I’m not able to hold dates without a formal booking.

During our 30-minute call, we’ll talk through your vision and get to know each other, since it matters to me that our styles genuinely align. If it’s a good fit, I’ll send over a contract, and a retainer of €1,500 secures your date.
This depends on your coverage length, guest count, and how the day is structured, but expect at least 50 edited images per hour, often more. My focus is quality over quantity: every image is chosen to reflect the true emotion and elegance of your day, not just delivered as an unfiltered batch of files.
I personally edit every gallery, which you’ll receive within 4 to 5 weeks. Wedding films take about 2 to 3 months. For couples who want their photos sooner, I also offer a Speed-Up Service delivering your full gallery within 10 days.
My pricing is transparent, with no hidden costs or limits on the number of edited photos you receive. Every collection includes two consultation calls, one before booking and one closer to your wedding, plus ongoing WhatsApp support, editing, and delivery through an online gallery.
